£100m England star Jadon Sancho retweets post urging Man Utd to sign him – then deletes it

JADON SANCHO retweeted a post urging Manchester United to sign him – but then swiftly deleted it.

The England international, 18, has been linked with a summer switch to Old Trafford following his incredible season with Borussia Dortmund.

And Sancho proved he is interested in the move when he reposted a comment from Rio Ferdinand on Thursday.

Alongside a photo of the 18-year-old, it read: "@rioferdy5 would love to see @Sanchooo10 in a Man Utd shirt."

But the ex-Manchester City star quickly removed it after it was spotted by some of his eagle-eyed fans.

Ferdinand is keen for Solskjaer to splash the cash to sign him this summer because he thinks he has the right mentality.

He told Goal: "I would take him [at Manchester United] all day. English, young, hungry and talented, that's all I need to know.

"He has got mentality. The mentality is a big part of it all, whether he has the physical attributes or not."

Sancho has excelled for the German giants this season, with nine goals and 17 assists in 35 appearances.

SunSport exclusively revealed that Solskjaer would rather sign Sancho than bolster his defence this summer.

But reports suggest Dortmund could demand as much as £100m for the in-demand 18-year-old.

Sancho has been a huge hit at England training this week and is set to start the Euro 2020 qualifier against Czech Republic.
