ENGLAND captain Harry Kane has posted a touching tribute to a six-year-old lad who sadly passed away recently.

Little Ben Williams had been fighting brain cancer since just after his fifth birthday and was Three Lions mascot for their Nations League clash against Spain in September last year.

Ben joined Kane as the Tottenham striker showed off his World Cup golden boot to the Wembley crowd before the match.

Kane, 25, tweeted: “Very sad to hear that Ben Williams passed away recently.

“It was an honour to have met him at the Spain game and shared a special moment with the golden boot.

“My thoughts are with his family.”

ROMA chief Gianluca Petrachi confirms interest in signing Toby Alderweireld.

Speaking to Football-Italia.net, he said: “I realise there is a release clause for Alderweireld, but Baldini has a strong rapport with Spurs directors, he worked there for many years and can support Roma in signing Alderweireld.

“If you want to say that Baldini negotiates on our behalf, then that is incorrect.

“I want it to be clear that he is of support to Roma and in the specific case of Alderweireld is an idea to help us save a bit of money.

“We’d be happy if we could sign him tomorrow without paying the release clause.”

ROMA chief insists Tottenham target Nicolo Zaniolo is NOT for sale.

Gianluca Petrachi said: “I take this opportunity to say that when I appreciated Zaniolo with all the affection of this world to return to the tracks if he had left, it was immediately said that Petrachi put Zaniolo up for sale.

    “This is not true.

“I have to work to try to get the best out of Zaniolo.

“I am also a very practical person, I have direct contact with my players.

“I never put Zaniolo up for sale, nor did I say it was on the market.

“The market is full of pitfalls, but today Zaniolo is not on the market.”
