A hilarious video perfectly captured the moment a teenager reacted to her older sister giving birth to her second baby girl.
Maya, 15, was eager to watch her older sister, Michelle, from Aurora, Missouri, give birth to her child on Wednesday, May 8. She decided to join in on the experience by standing at the foot of her sister’s hospital bed as she gave birth to her baby.
And as she watched her beloved sister give birth to her child, Maya experienced an overwhelming wave of emotions – including shock, excitement, nausea and joy.

Yikes! As she stood at the end of the bed watching her sister give birth to her baby, Maya, who was joined by her mother, LaDonna, experienced an overwhelming wave of emotions
The clip shows Maya standing at the end of her sister’s bed while her sister, Michelle, is presumably coming to the end of her labor.
She had been doing a lot of praying and was very worried for her sister and niece, and wanted to be in the room to support Michelle.
Anxious: At one point, Maya crossed her legs and bent down, placing her hands on her legs as she stared at Michelle with a nervous look on her face
As delivery approached, one of the nurses told her to go over to the foot of the bed so she could get a full view of the birthing process
Most likely unaware of how intense the situation would be, Maya appeared shocked throughout the entire 22-second clip.
Joined by her mother, LaDonna, Maya experienced childbirth for the very first time, and her reaction is priceless.
The teenager has her hands placed on her cheeks, and she boasts a worried expression while staring at her sister.
Someone, presumably a midwife or medical worker, can be heard counting up from one to ten, while Maya bends her knees and appears nervous.
As Michelle’s breathing can be heard increasing in pace and becoming heavier, Maya crosses one leg over the other while keeping her knees bent.
Throughout the clip, she keeps her hands on her face and her expression gets more and more anxious.
At one point Maya places her hands on her knees and bends down lower as she continues to cringe at the view of her sister giving birth.
As Michelle continues to push for her baby, Maya can be seen leaping up and standing with her hands on her head.
Maya, who admitted she felt like she was in pain as she watched the baby’s head come out, appears both shocked and distraught at whatever she has seen.
At one point, amniotic fluid sprayed everywhere, partially covering Maya and the others in the room with her.
Maya, who is still shocked at what is happening right in front of her eyes, raises her hand in attempt to block the fluid from reaching her face.
She can be heard saying ‘ew’ as the fluid reaches her, while others in the room laugh at the funny situation.
Meanwhile, a midwife can be heard telling Michelle to ‘push’.
After getting over the fact that she is now covered in amniotic fluid, Maya turns back around to the bed to continue watching the birth happen.
Her nervousness seems to turn to excitement as she stands at the end of the bed clapping and cheering her sister on.
Someone in the background of the video can be heard saying ‘here we go’, presumably just before Michelle’s baby was born.
By the end of the clip, Maya tearfully gazes at her sister and new baby niece as she waits in anticipation to meet her new niece.
