Prince William reveals George’s favourite film and it’s no longer The Lion King

Prince William has revealed five-year-old son Prince George has a new favourite film – and it’s no longer The Lion King.

The Duke of Cambridge gave the sweet insight during his trip with wife Kate to Northern Ireland last month.

It was while he sat with youngster Regan at arts centre charity Cinemagic that he told of how George is now particularly fond of How to Train Your Dragon.

The fantasy action film follows the story of Viking teenager named Hiccup who aspires to follow his tribe’s tradition of becoming a dragon slayer, but befriends one in the process.

William made the admission while helping Regan create dragons from pieces of coloured paper.

In 2017, he revealed how George loved Disney classic, The Lion King.

The Duke previously said: "He quite likes the Lion King, he’s watched it quite a few times."

Like most members of the royal family, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very private about their lives behind closed doors.

But the parents have let slip a few little details which gives fans an insight into how Prince George and Princess Charlotte are growing up.

And it would seem that when they’re away from the cameras the little royals are like any other kids.

Prince George’s favourite toy is Lego and he loves planes, while Princess Charlotte is already learning to dance and loves playing with dogs .

William also revealed in 2017 that his eldest child is also a fan of the Cbeebies regular Octonauts. And later added: "He has watched some Lego movies as well".

According to US Magazine , George and Charlotte are having as "unplugged" a childhood as possible and reportedly are not allowed to use iPads or play with any electronic devices at home.

The ‘childhood unplugged’ movement encourages parents to stop their children from relying on technology for entertainment, so they can learn more about the world around them.

Instead, they are said to encourage them to play with toys, as well as enjoy outside play and to use their imaginations.

It also means, according to the magazine, that they can bond as a family.
