My girlfriend dumped me after I took a pic of her in bed with a female friend of my teenage son

I am 36 and my girlfriend is 26. We had an open relationship that suited us and we were happy.

My son is 15 and his best friend is a girl of 14. They spend a lot of time at our place.

One day I came home from work and found my girlfriend and this girl in bed together.

I know that nothing sexual was going on but I said it was wrong and took a photo on my phone.

She was furious and said we were over. I still love her, though.

DEIDRE SAYS: She was behaving inappropriately by being in bed with a girl of 14.

Maybe nothing sexual was going on but the atmosphere clearly disturbed you and it could be seen as grooming.

If she wants to get back together, be clear that an open relationship doesn’t include underage friends of your son.
