LOL! Chrissy Teigen ‘Stole Some Shrimp’ From Quincy Jones at Oscars Afterparty

Chrissy Teigen knows what she wants! The star hit the Oscars afterparty circuit with husband John Legend on Sunday, February 24, in Los Angeles, and helped herself to a little nibble. The problem: The food Teigen had her eye on came right off the plate of a music legend.

“Stole some shrimp from @QuincyDJones,” the 33-year-old wrote on Twitter alongside a brief video of the not-so-subtle shrimp swipe. The clip, which appears to have been filmed by Teigen herself, was likely captured inside the Vanity Fair Oscars party, which was held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

Though Jones didn’t seem to notice his tablemate’s impressive reach (Teigen was seated two places away) the clip did catch the eye of Padma Lakshmi. “Is @michaelb4jordan doing a raffle in the background?” she wondered on Twitter, adding, “Haha.”

However, it appears the Cravings author should actually have helped herself to a bit more food (or less alcohol) while celebrating the 91st Academy Awards. On Monday, February 25, she took to Twitter to reveal that she arrived home at 3:30 a.m. and felt “like absolute s–t.”

The Lip Sync Battle cohost intimated she was feeling lousy after drinking a bit too much, adding, “I hereby go sober for at least the week. Booze is poison.”

In fact, Teigen’s hangover was so bad that she turned down Parks and Rec alum Ben Schwartz’s offer to “drink screwdrivers and play Mario Kart” on Monday.

“No dude I’m 7 hours sober!!!!” the Target cookware collection creator replied, “But I’m always down to lose rainbow road hard.”

Still, the night out wasn’t a total wash. While posing on the Vanity Fair red carpet with Legend, Teigen displayed her trademark sense of humor and playfully pushed the “All of Me” singer out of the way while she posed for photos. “Please welcome our 2018 Woman of the Year recipient @chrissyteigen and hubby @johnlegend,” she joked on Instagram Stories.
