J.Lo Just Had A Wardrobe Malfunction—And She Was Caught Wearing These Under Her Dress

  • Jennifer Lopez was a spotted wearing Spanx underneath her clothing in Miami recently.
  • J.Lo and Alex Rodriguez were attending their children’s elementary school graduation ceremony.
  • J.Lo was recently honored at the CFDA awards with the Icon Award.

Let’s be real: Jennifer Lopez’s body is the stuff of legend—but even real-life goddesses (you know it’s true, you’ve seen her abs), enlist a little backup sometimes, too.

J.Lo and fiancé Alex Rodriguez (a.k.a. A-Rod) were out in Miami recently for their children’s elementary school graduation ceremony—J.Lo’s twins Max and Emme, 11, were graduating, along with A-Rod’s daughter Ella, also 11—and J.Lo was photographed wearing some Spanx, according to PageSix.

A gust of wind blew J.Lo’s salmon-colored Chanel midi dress up just enough for everyone to get a glimpse of her shapewear—you know, like many, many women wear literally all the time. J.Lo, the queen she is, didn’t miss a beat: She adjusted her dress and kept right on walking.

Earlier this week, J.Lo was honored at the CFDA awards with the Icon Award—and she did not disappoint with her outfit. In something that could only be described as couture athleisure, J.Lo wore a design by Ralph Lauren which consisted of an orange sparkly crop top with a matching full skirt, complete with sweatpants-style drawstring waist and a massive train. The whole thing was covered in crystals.

Also important: Her abs were on fire. And with good reason: J.Lo has been known to “very rarely skip a workout,” according to Us Weekly. She and A-Rod also swear by TruFusion workouts to sculpt their banging bodies. The fitness studio features classes from yoga to bootcamp in rooms heated to up to 120 degrees.

Clearly, she’s also “genetically blessed” (those are actual words from her trainer David Kirsch, according to People), but props to her for not being ashamed to rock some Spanx once in a while, regardless of what her body looks like.
