I constantly look for attention on dating apps when I am not with my partner

We are both guys. I am 29, he is 37. We live in different parts of the country.

I look online when we are not together.

He does everything for me, including helping support me financially. Neither of us is in a position to change our jobs and move in together.

I get lonely but I’ve never met anyone I have contacted online. I get jealous knowing my partner has other friends to spend time with.

My jealousy has damaged previous relationships, so it is a worry.

DEIDRE SAYS: Tell your partner about how much you miss him. Ask him to contact you more often by phone, messaging and video calls.

Relationships can be kept close even at a distance.

Fill your spare time with new interests. Join the gym, a group, learn a new skill or become involved in some voluntary work.
