Did Meghan Markle Really Get a Tattoo Like Kate Middleton's?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just finished a royal tour of Morocco. Fans have been following every aspect of the trip, from what Meghan wore to the places the couple visited. It was noticed, however, that Meghan is now sporting an intricate design on her hand, which has left many people wondering if our beloved Duchess has taken the plunge and gotten a tattoo like another famous Duchess.
Meghan Markle celebrates a Moroccan tradition
As it turns out, the tattoo is not permanent (reminiscent of Kate Middleton’s semi-permanent tattoo she received from a girl when speaking with Young Asian Voices last year). Like Kate’s, Meghan’s tattoo is also a henna tattoo, which is a tradition in the Moroccan culture that celebrates a woman’s pregnancy. The lovely flower design starts at the tip of Meghan’s index finger and goes a few inches past her wrist, and most can agree that it’s quite flattering.
Sitting next to Prince Harry, Meghan happily received the tattoo during a visit to the Education for All Boarding House in the Atlas Mountains, where the Henna ceremony was held to mark Meghan’s seventh month of pregnancy.

A henna tattoo symbolizes good luck for the mother and the baby and is quite popular in the Moroccan culture. It is applied during times of happiness and celebration, so it’s only fitting for Meghan to receive the honor during her visit to the country.
