Sarah Ferguson beams in yellow as she attends Royal Ascot 2019 with Prince Andrew

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, headed to Royal Ascot 2019 today. Fergie, as she is affectionately known by the public, wore a bright yellow wrap dress for her visit. The mum-of-two paired this with a teal hat, perfectly offsetting her red hair, which was loosely curled. Sarah carried a matching teal and gold velvet bag in her arms as she walked along.

Adding yet another colour to the mix, Prince Andew’s ex-wife wore a pair of deep purple high heels.

Prince Andrew, meanwhile, looked dashing in a dark suit and pink tie. He offset this with a golden brown waistcoat and black top hat.

Fergie’s dress flattered her figure thanks to its wrap design and high collar.

While her daughters have been fixtures at the races this week, today marks the first day the Duchess of York has attended.

However the deep blue colour theme is something mother and daughters have shared, with Eugenie wearing the shade yesterday.

While some opted to dress in light summery colours, Eugenie stood out in a stunning dark emerald dress.

The royal wore a small circular black hat on her head.

Preparing for summer weather, she appeared to leave her coat at home.

Princess Eugenie’s dress had a high neck and no sleeves. The top of the dress was held together by a small button which displayed a peekaboo neckline.

She was pulled in at the waist by a large belt in the same material which was tied into a bow at the side of her dress.

On Tuesday, the first day of Royal Ascot, most royals stepped out wearing dresses in a similar shade of pastel blue.

Eugenie opted to wear a darker design and was seen in a turquoise dress which had a high neck and was completely sleeveless.

The dress nipped in at the waist and had a full skirt made of thin pleats which continued just below the knee.

Another flash of bright yellow could be spotted poking from underneath the bottom as well as having some strips down the skirt.

She matched the look with a pair of white and tan high heels which had metal stud detailing.
