The first player to have all the items on their ticket called wins the house prize. If the prize is won in 19 calls or less the house winner(s) will also win a fantastic fixed amount jackpot.
Watch out for the 6 special symbols (Dream Team, Bizarre, Holidays, Sun Savers, The Sun, TVbiz). If all 6 special symbols come up in a game and the house call is the final special symbol the Winning Headlines Community Jackpot (Headline Jackpot) will be triggered and shared between all players in the game.
What are the game's special features?
Tickets and Strips
The Winning Headlines Bingo game uses tickets consisting of a combination of 12 numbers and symbols (0-6 symbols on a ticket). A strip consists of 3 tickets, and no number/symbol will be displayed more than once in a strip of 3 tickets.
Winning Headlines Bingo is a single ticket only game, and players are able to select from multiple stake amounts before they purchase their ticket (£0.10, £0.50, £1.00, £2.00), The higher the price, the higher the prizes.
Bingo Game Prizes (House Prize)
Players who purchase a ticket for Winning Headlines Bingo will be able to win the house prize if the following criteria is met:
Every single number and symbol on a player's ticket is called before another player matches everything on their ticket.
The house prize amount will be dependent on the stake amount that you select when you purchase your ticket.
If multiple players win the house prize at the same ticket price, then they will share the house prize amount assigned to that stake amount.
Fixed Amount Jackpots
There are 2 fixed prize jackpots that you can win in the bingo game, which will be won dependent on if you have won the house prize within a certain number of ball calls:
Hot off the Press!: house prize won within 16 ball calls
Deadline Jackpot!: house prize won in between 17, 18 and 19 ball calls
If multiple players win any of these jackpots (at the same stake amount) at one time, then the jackpot amount will be split between those players equally.
If multiple players win any of these jackpots (over different stake amounts) then the full jackpot amount per stake amount will be paid out to the players.
For example, a split win occurs on the 16th ball call between 3 players. Player 1 had a £2 ticket, while players 2 and 3 had £1 tickets. Player 1 will win the full Hot off the Press! Jackpot for their ticket price (£10,000), players 2 and 3 will share the Hot of the Press! Jackpot for their ticket price (£5,000) equally between them receiving £2,500 each.
Headline Jackpot! (Community Jackpot)
The Headline Jackpot can be won if the following criteria are met within the bingo game:
All 6 special symbols are called within the game
The house prize within the game, is won when a special symbol is called
Multiple Jackpots in one game
If the criteria for both the Headline Jackpot and one of the Fixed Amount Jackpots is met, only the Headline Jackpot will be awarded.
For example, if the house prize is won on the 18th call and the winning number is the 6th and final special symbol, the Deadline Jackpot will not be triggered.
