Fendi's Reissuing Its Iconic Baguette Bag: See the Stars Who Popularized the Design

The two stars joined Fendi for the relaunch party of the “Baguette” at the brand’s New York City flagship store on Feb. 7. “Well I think the bag is so chic and timeless it kind of works in any color. I have one that’s big and black that I love. And I have this mini red one so I’m very pleased with the Baguette situation,” Roberts told PEOPLE exclusively. 

Whether she was playing the infamous Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City (pictured in a scene from 1999, left) or off-camera (at a premiere for the TV show in 2000, right), SJP sported the luxurious accesory regularly. 

In the Sex and the City spinoff series, The Carrie Diaries, teenage Carrie was just as glamorous as her adult self and rocked the designer purse in multiple scenes.

The actress was spotted with a multicolored version at the 2012 Kid’s Choice Awards.

Leave it to the style setter to have the “it” bag of the moment, seen here carrying her fluorescent Baguette to a film premiere in 2013.
