Tyler, the Creator expressed happiness over Theresa May’s resignation.

May was Home Secretary in 2015 when she banned Tyler from entering the U.K. for three to five years, forcing him to cancel a series of tour dates in support of his album “Cherry Bomb”.

She wrote a letter to Tyler’s manager, insisting that lyrics on the rapper’s albums “encourage violence and intolerance of homosexuality”, and “seek to provoke others to terrorist acts”.

As a result, Tyler was later detained at the U.K. border.

The rapper will be back in Britain this summer after announcing a series of upcoming sold out shows at O2 Academy Brixton.
