‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Kailyn Lowry Blasts MTV For Only Showing Her ‘As A Bitter Baby Momma&#8217

Kailyn Lowry is on one!

The Teen Mom 2 star took to Twitter throughout the day on Sunday to address something that was evidently near and dear to her heart over the weekend: the way she sees herself being portrayed by reality TV producers on her hit MTV show! And it ain’t good!!!

In a thread that spanned a few hours across the morning and early afternoon, Lowry pleaded her case with her fans that the network was portraying her incorrectly — and only looking for drama and salaciousness to pad their ratings, as opposed to seeking all the positive in her life.

“Y’all wana talk about filming and s**t cause I’m so mad I could spill some tea,” Lowry cryptically tweeted early Sunday morning, kicking off what turned into a day of blasting Teen Mom 2‘s parent network.

And then, she was off to the races, telling the story and making her case in a series of tweets (below):

“I have struggled, y’all have seen it. I haven’t always made good choices. But I’m getting my s**t together. Started my company. Own a house, building another. Mtv calls me up to discuss season finale after not filming my house stuff or my surprise party they knew about for a month. Talkin bout they want me to do a boudoir shoot as the season finale. Kiss my ass. All the s**t I’ve been through and been doing and taking my kids on spring break, building house or party….. trip with @TM2LeahDawn isn’t good enough for my finale??? I’m only valued for getting fucking naked??????”

Fair point!!!

Of course, to also be fair, we should note this is Kailyn’s pinned tweet that shows up at the top of her profile page right now (below):

Not that there’s anything wrong with that!! She’s clearly feelin’ herself, she looks great, and it should go without saying that she should have every right to do that!!!

But it’s tough to make your case against MTV trying to attract eye balls with nudity when, well, she’s pretty openly publicizing her own nudity! Ya know?!?!

Anyways, that wasn’t the end of her argument, either. The reality TV star continued the thread (below):

“I don’t ever sit on my couch & talk about my baby dads as much as I do when MTV is asking. I feel like that’s such a smack in the face. Drama sells but from what I see the happy stories/tv personalities have a bigger following & more opportunity. Am i wrong? At what point can I stop being portrayed as a bitter baby momma?”

Now that’s the crux of her argument, and it’s a much stronger point to make here — Kailyn definitely has a case to make! Good to see her really thinking about how she’s being portrayed, and what those messages are sending to her, as well as young girls out there who are watching the show! What’s the fall-out?! What responsibility does MTV have to do the right thing??

Smart, Kailyn!!!

Here’s the tweet thread, in full (below):

Wow!

A few hours later, she came back on and clearly acknowledged stir she had caused (below):

LOLz!!!

What do U think, Perezcious readers? In many ways, we’ve watched Kailyn (and the rest of her cast mates) grow up on MTV… are they being poorly portrayed? Does she have a point here?!

Sound OFF about it in the comments (below)!!!
