Selena Gomez Just Threw Her Best Friend a Stunning Bridal Shower
Over the holiday weekend, Selena Gomez helped throw her best friend, Courtney Barry, a lovely bridal shower. The bride-to-be, along with her well-dressed guests, posted adorable behind-the-scenes snapshots to Instagram.
“A few of my perfect girls threw me a perfect shower,” Barry captioned a collage of seven polaroid pictures showing her girl squad showering her with love, bottles of Moët, and a beautiful floral arrangement.
Although Selena did not post about the festivities to her own Insta feed, fans noticed her in the photos, where she was dressed in a red mock neck above-the-knee dress with her hair pulled back.
Based on the Instagram stories captured by fans and images shared by guests, Gomez and her girl squad did not skimp on the details for the outdoor fête, which included Ring Pops, plenty of white balloons, polaroids, and white floral arrangements for the tables.
In a second post, Barry, who was dressed in an embroidered short sleeve mock neck dress from Macgraw, shared a brief-yet-darling synopsis on how she and her fiancé met.
“Two years ago, @sam._lopez professed his love for me in this backyard (sort of) on my birthday and I was like whaaaat. and then last year I told him I thought I might marry him so we started dating and here we are, weeks away from getting married and life is so sweet and God is so WILD and I’m just floating through it.”
Gomez and Barry have a strong friendship, and the pair cemented their best friend status in a very permanent way: matching tattoos of the number one on their rib cages in celebration of Barry’s 26th birthday last August.
Gomez wrote about the new ink on Instagram, “And lastly, my actual #1 @courtneyjbarry you are an incredible woman. The way you handle life’s most confusing moments is indescribable and graceful. You are moved by the littlest stories to the most heartbreaking ones, you will give someone your perfume if they say you smell nice, you are freaking hilarious and always stand firm in your faith, a loving sister, an amazing friend and a beautiful daughter.
