Saoirse Ronan’s new film, Mary Queen of Scots, had yet another premiere tonight and seeing as the film is set in Scotland its only right it was held at Edinburgh Castle.

Showing off a regal look, the actress stunned in a pale pink bespoke dress by Dior, as styled by Elizabeth Saltzman. We love the draping silhouette which flatters her figure, plus the sweetheart strapless bodice is a real statement design.

We all know by now that Saoirse loves to keep it minimal and complete the look with a bold lip, but this has to be one of our favorite looks from her this year and the Oscars are still yet to come!

The dress is made-to-measure so it’s unavailable to buy, but swoon over the current collection by clicking (right).

Meanwhile, Margot Robbie has been shortlisted for a Best Supporting Actress Bafta for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth I, the cousin of Mary Queen of Scots.

The film shows Mary Stuart return from France to reclaim the Scottish throne, under the rule of English Queen Elizabeth I, and assert her claim to the English throne.

The Irish actress previously recalled the moment that she saw Australian co-star, Margot , 28, in character on set for the first time.

Speaking to The Sydney Morning Herald, Saoirse said the pair were ‘shaking’ and ‘in tears’ when they filmed a scene, after agreeing to not see each other in costume until their characters meet in a rural farm house in the film.

‘It was uncontrollable the reaction we had to each other,’ Saoirse said.

‘I’m not sure if they were able to use the first take because we were in tears.’
