Lindsay Lohan thinks she’s ‘clobbered’ by the press

Lindsay Lohan wants to know why she gets “constantly clobbered in the press.”

“I could do 99 things right and one thing wrong, but it’s that one thing that will be focused on,” Lohan, 32, said in Paper magazine’s latest Break The Internet issue.

She continued, “Behind the scenes, I do what I can to be the best version of me, which never gets mentioned. I am also human. I make mistakes. That’s all that seems to get reported.”

A former child star, Lohan broke out onto the scene with 2003’s “Freaky Friday” and 2004’s “Mean Girls.” Though personal troubles derailed a once-promising film career, the actress intends to make a statement with her newest endeavor, Lohan Beach House, located in Mykonos, Greece. The European hot spot is at the center of a forthcoming reality series, set to premiere in January on MTV.

“I really wanted to make it a family-style beach. A place where people can go with their kids and feel safe,” Lohan explained.

As for keeping others in check, Lohan said the experience has been surreal.

“To kind of have to calm other people down when they’re stressed out, which was me in the past — I think back like, ‘Oh my God, did I act like that? Ten years ago?’” She said.

“I want to make sure these kids are responsible for themselves, but it’s a liability and a legal issue, too,” Lohan added. “We just trademarked my last name.”

While Lohan may have been known for her partying ways in the past, she said she’s enjoyed watching others take the reins.

“I am who I am. I’m a good person,” Lohan said. “I take care of myself. I’m healthy. I like to have fun, but that doesn’t mean I need to go out and drink and be crazy. I have a good relationship with that. It’s funnier to watch other people party.”
