Hollywood heart-throb Rob Lowe reveals why Vernon Kay is ruining his marriage
Remember the days when Rob Lowe was a major Hollywood heart-throb?
No? Well, it seems to be all a distant memory for Rob, too, thanks to our own Vernon Kay.
For these days Rob’s wife of 27 years, Sheryl Berkoff, likes having Bolton boy Vernon in the bedroom at night. Rob, 54, reveals: “My wife will watch Family Fortunes all night long. She has it piled up on the DVR. I’m basically in a nightly, sexless three-way with this guy.
“Nice guy, perfectly handsome, I just don’t want him in my bedroom any more. She’ll watch four to five episodes till all hours.”
Rob moans that it’s taken the (St Elmo’s) fire out of their love life. In his one-man theatre show, Stories I Tell My Friends, he says: “Most guys at night, the last auditory moment of a long day is their honey saying, ‘Good night, honey’. I get, ‘Survey says’.”
Sheryl, 57, is so hooked on the show, she wakes him up for help.
He says: “She’s like, ‘Quick, name five things you can do with a feather’. I’m like, ‘I don’t know, but none of the five are getting done to me tonight’.”
