Dani Dyer’s ex-boyfriend EastEnders actor Sam Strike BEGGED her not to go on Love Island

Her former beau, who also played her dad’s on-screen son Johnny Carter in EastEnders, reportedly didn’t want her to go on the show.

Although Dani Dyer ignored his requests and joined the Love Island 2018 cast and met Jack Fincham, the pair didn’t go the distance on the outside.

When the bombshell was gearing up to go in the villa, her ex-boyfriend advised her not to, with the pair still being close friends after their split.

However, Dani went on to win the show after deciding to take the plunge and continue with the reality show.

Speaking to The Sun Online at the time, a source alleged: “Sam and Dani are really good friends and she runs everything past him.

“His advice was to not do the show – he feels it’s the wrong move for her.”

Since she left the villa, Dani has embarked on a successful career, with the launch of her clothing line, hosting gigs and her book release.

However, it hasn’t stopped her from being at the centre of a scandal, following her split from Jack Fincham.

Jack and Dani confirmed their split for the second time earlier this month, with Jack releasing an official statement at the time.

He wrote: “There is no easy way to say this and it isn’t going to be an easy time but me and Dani are not in a relationship anymore.

“We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I wish her nothing but happiness.”

However, just weeks on from their split Dani appeared to rekindle her romance with her former beau Sammy Kimmence.

Dani was spotted getting cosy with her man as she wrapped her arms around him.

The pair reportedly dated for a year before she headed into Love Island and found romance with Jack.
